Hello and thank you for visiting my blog…

My name is Sabrina and I am a first time blogger living in the the UK. I am blessed to be an older sister to my two brothers and a wife to my lovely husband. I have a passion for writing, although never gave it much thought but finally with a little encouragement from friends decided to create a blog to share my posts publicly.

I hold a degree in Criminology and love anything related to crime, in the future I hope to be a Domestic Violence Advisor or a Probation Officer Insha’Allah. Currently I teach at an ESB (Emotional, Social, Behaviour) School in a town close to me. The job is hard work and challenging but the rewards are endless and the experience invaluable.

I am mixed race (Asian and English) and lived with my Mum (who was English) all my life it wasn’t until she passed away I began to explore Islam properly and made the decision to become a ‘proper’ Muslim and follow Islam. In Islam I found many answers that no one could ever give me and found the strength to deal with the challenges that this life throws at me. Islam taught me there is always a reason behind everything that you experience, both good and bad. Islam is the platform for many of my posts.

I have no idea if my writing will go anywhere or people will even like my posts but it’s worth a go. The categories at the side are where you can find some of my posts, often including short daily snippets. In the the black header at the top is where you can find my titled blog posts, these are about a specific topic and are titled. As well as writing as a hobby I also like photography and take a few snaps when I get the chance, which are posted on here too.
